Night Time Face Routine

I have skin issues. Only a select few people know the extent I have to go through to keep my skin clear. After years of doctors appointments and trying everything under the sun, I finally found a doctor that could diagnose my skin condition. I have a combination of psoriasis and cysts that form under my skin. It got so bad at the age of 24, I would only leave the house to go to work and come home.

So to all my girlfriends out there that have skin issues this post is for you. I am NOTORIOUS for reading the labels of things before I put them on my skin. Everything I own that goes on my face is oil-free and non comedogenic. It has made a WORLD of difference in my skin. And I know this will really help you. I hope you enjoy today's post and please feel free to contact me with any questions!

Step One: Cleansing your face.

I use SkinCeuticals LHA cleanser with my Clarisonic Mia 2 (with a acne head brush). I am usually in the shower when I do this. This is to get the general "crap" off my skin. I know with all the make-up and pollutants that come in the air, I can't get it all off. That's why I do step two and three!

Step Two and Three: Take it all off.

I use Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover to take the rest of my eye makeup off and then to make sure EVERY LAST DROP of makeup is really off my face I use Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water. I swear by the cleaning water. It is the most amazing makeup remover ever.

Step Four: Moisturize your face and eyes.

After I basically have stripped my face naked, I moisturize it with Dr. Jart + Ceramidin Liquid. Again total obsession and can't live without it. They only sell this stuff at Sephora. But the bottle lasts for very long time if you use it sparingly. I then follow it up with eye cream. I know I'm in my twenties but thirty years from now I know I will be thanking myself for it. I use BareMinerals Renew and Hydrate Eye Cream. I use this twice a day. Once in the morning and before I head off to bed!
